🍂 HOW is it already the end of the year?!

Busy season is officially HERE, and calendars are starting to fill up! 🗓️✨

If you’ve been putting off booking your next appointment, consider this your friendly little nudge to get it in the books before the holiday chaos kicks in.

A little time for yourself goes a long way. 🤍
See you in the clinic! ✨

Hi, I’m the person behind The Get Good 🌈

It’s been 2.5 years since I opened the doors, and somehow I’m still learning something new every day about running a solo practice, owning a business, and figuring it all out as I go.

When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll probably find me:
🏕️ Camping ...yes, even in winter
🌿 Gardening and spending too much money on plants
🔨 Starting another house project before finishing the last one
🎨 Occasionally making something artful
📖 Getting lost in a good book
✈️ Planning my next adventure somewhere in the world

Basically, I like to keep busy, be outside, make things, learn things, and have something to look forward to. What do you?

Thanks for being here 🤍

As the days get shorter, I sometimes feel a little scared of what the darkness might bring.

But I’m reminding myself that this season can be an invitation inward. 🌙

Get creative. Start that course you’ve been thinking about. Try the hot yoga class. Book the trip you’ve been dreaming about.

Use this time to focus, learn, rest, and prepare for new growth - so when the sun returns, you’re ready to bloom. ✨

A little more learning to bring back to the treatment room 🤍

I recently completed an intensive weekend course with From the Neck Up | RMT Clinic expanding my skills, tools and knowledge in TMJ, TMJD & TMD treatment.

Excited to continue growing my practice and bringing these techniques into my treatments!

Starting in October, the Seasonal Jaw & TMJ Treatment will be increasing by $10.

Why the change?

✨ Rising costs of products I use in treatment
✨ Additional advanced training through From The Neck Up so I can better support jaw function, headaches, and facial tension

This treatment is designed to help with:

✔️ TMJ pain and tension
✔️ Headaches and migraines
✔️ Jaw popping and clicking
✔️ Tinnitus
✔️ Sinus congestion and that “clogged up” feeling
✔️ Stress, tension, and generally helping you chill-the-heck-out 😌

Thank you for continuing to trust me with your care. Investing in continuing education and better treatment tools allows me to provide even more effective care for headaches, jaw dysfunction, facial tension, and overall nervous system regulation.

Matcha is one of my favourite afternoon rituals🍵

Rich in antioxidants, it provides a calm, steady energy boost without the jitters or crash that coffee can sometimes bring. It's also thought to support focus, metabolism, and overall wellbeing. Since switching to afternoon matcha instead of that coffee, I've seen my skin clear up 🤔. Has anyone else seen benefits from their matcha?

If you're making an iced matcha this summer, try not to overdo the ice! ❄️ In TCM, too much cold can weaken digestion and the body's "digestive fire," especially for those who already tend toward feeling cold, bloated, or low energy.☯️
