Thinking of all of the kiddos, caregivers and school staff tonight. I wish you a gentle start tomorrow, and some glimmers of joy that fill your heart. Maybe a robin in the parking lot, or seeing a cool cloud out the window. Or the sound of children's laughter. For the caregivers, perhaps the sound of silence for the first time in a couple of months.😉
Also, you may steal this tip: Any backpacks left on the floor after school will be blessed with a hidden potato or apple inside. Do they really want to take that chance finding it a month into school? Follow for more thoroughly researched and professional suggestions. Juuust kidding. 🥔 🍎 🍏

Hello all! I am excited to be able to say that, starting in September, I finally have room for a few new clients! I work with adult individuals regarding a variety of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, pmdd, chronic illness, neurodiversity and perimenopause. I can probably also fit in 1-2 new couples at this time. Please share with anyone who might be looking for a therapist. And if you have been waiting for bookings to open for a while, now is your time!

Did you watch Adolescence? It was intense, but it is a good launching point for conversation with our teens. They are learning about this stuff anyway. My teen didn't watch it, but he knew the names of podcasters spreading the information and we processed his feelings about it. It is an important conversation to have.
