Heartfelt Farewell to Kristen....

Today we have to say a very difficult goodbye to someone who has been such a special part of our pharmacy team. ❤️

After more than 12 years with us, we are saying farewell to Kristen as she and her family begin an exciting new chapter out of province.

Kristen first joined us as a pharmacy student and over the years she has grown into so much more than a colleague. She has been a wonderful pharmacist, a trusted friend, a mentor, and a familiar and caring face to all of us and so many of our patients.

There have been countless busy days, laughs, challenges, celebrations, and memories along the way. We have been incredibly lucky to have her as part of our team for so many years.

Kristen, you will be missed more than you know. While we are so sad to see you go, we are also incredibly happy for you and your family and wish you nothing but happiness and success in this next adventure. ❤️

Thank you for 12+ wonderful years, Kristen. We are so grateful for everything you have brought to our team and to our patients.

We’re excited to share on behalf of Hammonds Plains Family Practice that two new family doctors will be joining the practice this Fall! 🎉

When new doctors become available, patients are contacted through the list provided by Nova Scotia Health (811). This means that registering with the Need a Family Practice Registry — and keeping your information up to date — is the way to be considered for a family doctor when one becomes available.

📍 Make sure your information is current! In particular, check that your address and postal code are correct, as this information is used by 811 when determining who may be connected with available family practices.
