We still have several clinics this month. Get your Spring Covid shot before they are gone. Last day to receive the vaccine is June 30th.

June is the last month to get an additional dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, if you’re eligible. The spring program will end on June 30th.

Who is eligible for an additional dose?

The following groups are strongly encouraged to receive an additional dose this spring:

• Adults aged 80 and older.
• Adult residents of long-term care or other senior congregate living settings.
• Individuals aged 6 months and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised.

The following people can also get an additional dose this spring, even if they received a dose in the fall or winter:

• Anyone aged 65 and older.
• People aged 50 and older who are First Nations, Black or African Nova Scotian.
Nova Scotians aged 6 months and older who did not receive a COVID-19 vaccine in the fall or winter can also get vaccinated.

Today, we are celebrating a very special milestone.

Congratulations to Anna on receiving her PharmD from Dalhousie University! 🎓

Anna has been an integral part of our team since her first year of pharmacy school, and it has been a privilege to witness her growth and development as a pharmacy professional over the past four years.

This year, Anna will be doing a residency at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, an exciting next step in her professional journey.

We are incredibly proud of all that she has accomplished and are confident that she will make a significant impact on the patients and healthcare teams she serves.

While we will miss her, we are hopeful that our patients will still have the opportunity to see her from time to time as she fills in at our Community Pharmacy Primary Care Clinic.

We somehow lost our internet connection last night during the thunderstorm. We need internet for our computers, checkouts and debit machines. A technician will be on site before noon.
