The 25th Annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon is quickly approaching, and there are a number of ways you can make your gift in support of a participating hospital foundation. Donations will be accepted by phone during the Radiothon broadcast, by text during the month of October, in person at your local hospital foundation office, or online any time.

EVERY HOME GOAL COUNTS. 🏒💙

The B’s are back at the P&H Centre this weekend, and every Barons home goal this season is helping make an impact beyond the scoreboard.

Through Goals for Healthcare, Hallman Motors and Hanover Chrysler have each pledged $10 for every Barons home goal, bringing the total to $20 for every goal scored on home ice in support of local patient care through the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation.

🌟 Healthcare Hero Spotlight: Ujash 🌟

A recent donation to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation came with a special message of gratitude for Ujash, one of our Queen’s Clerkship students!
After receiving care in the HDH Emergency Department, a patient shared that Ujash helped her stay calm throughout her visit, took the time to explain what was happening, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel much easier.

At HDH, we are proud to be a teaching hospital where the next generation of healthcare professionals can learn, grow and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients — and Ujash is already doing just that. 💙

🦞💙 $10,000 for local healthcare!

A huge thank you to the Neustadt & District Lions Club for their incredible $10,000 donation in support of our Fluoroscopy Suite Upgrade at Hanover & District Hospital!
This generous gift was made possible through proceeds from their milestone 50th Annual Lobsterfest — an amazing example of what can happen when a community comes together in support of local healthcare.

We are so grateful to the Lions Club, their volunteers, supporters, and everyone who helped make this year’s Lobsterfest such a success. Your generosity is helping bring important new diagnostic imaging technology to patients right here at home.
