September is HERBAL WORKSHOP MONTH 🌿
We are so grateful to cooperate with two awesome businesses in our area for hosting these September events.

🐝 September 18: BETWEEN HIVES & HEDGEROWS at
A 2hr mid-day herbal retreat focusing on the herbs that support our health during the cold season. Yes, elderberry, sage, lemon balm, mullein and honey will play a big role. We're also going to make our own herbal bouquets for cooking or tea. After a walk around the property to discover and identify the herbs at our feet, we'll enjoy herbal homemade refreshments and share recipes that help us support our health when the cold days arrive.

🌿 September 26: DIY workshop - Create your own HOME APOTHECARY at
This is a workshop for everyone that wants to learn how to use our common kitchen herbs for our own health. We will go for a walk through the garden center and discover the beneficial plants we can grow in our garden (you'll be surprised how many you might already grow!). Afterward we meet to create our own personalized herb planter with a choice of 3 herbs.

🌿A Personal Celebration: Ines' Herbalism Journey

I can't believe it has been almost one year since I started studying Herbal Energetics with Rosalee de la Forêt
For my whole life I've been deeply connected to the plant world, made questionable potions as a little girl and started drying my own herbs for teas in my early teens. Over twenty years later, I'm still fascinated by plants and so grateful that herbs are a vast universe and a never ending learning adventure. For the longest time I tried to learn about herbs the traditional way western medicine shows us: tell me the symptom and I give you the herb to treat it with.
That approach can work, but it is usually not the answer to the underlying issue.

Learning about the plant's constitutions and energetics and how to match them with the person completely changed my approach. And the nice part is: Once you understand the concept it is much easier to understand and learn about the herbal actions. 🌿

Now I am super excited to bring much more herbal wisdom to the table during workshops, garden consultations and forest therapy sessions. If you work with me, you won't get away without a word or two about herbs 😆

If you are as exited as I am about herbs and the healing power of nature, come and join us for our next Apothecary Garden Walk at on September 18. The new school year and upcoming fall call for a lot of homemade remedies to sooth this transition.
