I was asked to be chairman for the construction of the extended hospital wing connected to the Fraser Canyon Hospital. I agreed to do so since I had been involved as Chief of Staff.
Marvin Cope was acting as temporary president of the hospital at that time.
This involved contact with the governments and this was a happy event working toward knowing that the aging citizens could live in our own community . Both Marvin Cope and my wife Pat were able to enjoy the final days of their lives at the Fraser Canyon hospital wing.
