BY-MAC CAMPGROUND – MONDAY, AUGUST 24! 🏕️

We’re excited to welcome campers back to the newly renovated By-Mac Campground beginning Monday, August 24!

A lot of work has gone into improving the campground, and while a few pieces of the project are still underway, we’re ready to open the gates and welcome the community back. Public access to the By-Mac boat launch is also now available.

The renovated campground now features:

24 campsites
A new gazebo and gathering area
New 30-amp and 15-amp electrical service (currently being completed)
New washroom and shower facilities (currently being completed)

Please note: Water and electrical service are not yet available at the campground. Work will continue after the campground opens, and we’ll provide updates as new amenities become available.

Whether you’re coming out to camp or simply looking to access the boat launch, we’re excited to welcome the community back to By-Mac!

Thank you for your patience while we continue working to make By-Mac Campground an even better place to camp, gather and enjoy the outdoors! 🌲

The District of Houston is inviting proposals from individuals, businesses, organizations, and societies interested in operating the concession at the Claude Parish Memorial Arena for the upcoming ice season. This is a great opportunity to serve arena users, tournament attendees, and visitors while being part of our local recreation community.
