Effective July 1, 2026, Humboldt Smiles Dental Studios will be joining the Wheatland Dental family of clinics. Wheatland currently serves patients in Saskatoon and Watrous. Many of you may recognize Wheatland Dental from our previous transition in Watrous – when Watrous Dental Centre joined Wheatland Dental in 2018. Because of that experience, I feel confident you will be well cared for here in Humboldt.
As we move forward, I am going to take this opportunity to begin my retirement journey.

Caring for you and your family has been one of my greatest privileges.
Over the years I have been honored to build lasting relationships and to have been part of your dental health and well-being.
I feel very grateful for the trust placed in me and the opportunity to serve this community.
Thank you for your loyalty, kindness, commitment and support throughout the years.

April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month 🦷

Did you know your dentist or hygienist is often the first to notice early signs of oral cancer during a routine visit? That’s one more reason why regular dental exams are so important.

Watch for these possible symptoms:
• Red or white patches in the mouth
• A sore that doesn’t heal
• Thickening of the cheek
• A lump or unusual growth
• Numbness in the mouth or tongue
• Feeling like something is stuck in your throat
• Persistent bad breath
• Difficulty chewing or swallowing

You can help reduce your risk by:
• Visiting your dentist regularly
• Reducing or quitting to***co and alcohol use
• Using lip balm with UV protection and wearing a hat outdoors
• Eating a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables
• Brushing and flossing daily

Early detection can make all the difference. If you notice any of these symptoms, don’t wait, book an appointment to get checked. Your oral health matters!
