Our three-day Open House at Joseph Street wrapped up this past weekend, and my heart is incredibly full.

On Saturday afternoon, the exhibition received a very special visit from the Mayor of Markham, Frank Scarpitti Frank Scarpitti. It is a true honor to know that he took the time out of his busy schedule to stand in front of “The Year of the Horse” collection and support independent local art.

I am also deeply grateful for the beautiful Certificate of Appreciation presented on behalf of the Mayor and the Markham City Council to recognize our contribution to the local cultural community.

Thank you, Mayor Scarpitti, for your incredible support and for making our gallery space feel so welcome in the city. To everyone who walked through our doors this weekend to experience the work—thank you.
