💗✨ A Little Country, A Little Sparkle & A Whole Lot of Dolly! ✨💗

We had such a wonderful time celebrating the life and legacy of the one and only Dolly Parton last Wednesday! 🤠🎶

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with Dolly’s unforgettable music, memories, laughter and plenty of Southern-inspired treats — ham & cheese biscuits, fruit cups, strawberry shortcake, pink lemonade and lemonade. We played Dolly trivia, and finished our evening watching Steel Magnolias.

Dolly gave the world so much more than incredible music. Her kindness, humour, generosity and unmistakable sparkle touched generations, and we loved spending the afternoon remembering what made her so special. 💕

We held our annual BBQ Carnival, and although the weather was not on our side, fun was still had! Games, prizes, food and treats!

We decided this year all proceeds would go to Sakura House. We were able to donate $940 to a fantastic cause!

Canada Day at Oxford Manor! ❤️🤍

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Canada Day together! The day was filled with delicious Canadian-themed snacks, lively music, fun trivia, and plenty of patriotic spirit.

Residents proudly dressed in their red and white, sported festive Canada Day tattoos, and enjoyed an afternoon of laughter, friendly competition, and great company. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our country while making special memories together.

Of course, to beat the heat later in the day, we also enjoyed some Canadian popcicles!

We hope that everyone enjoyed the day, and took some time for family and friends! 🍁🎉

What a wonderful way to wrap up our week at Oxford Manor!!

First, we would like to send our sincere thanks to Gino’s Pizza for their generous donation of tonight’s supper! Our resident‘s enjoyed a delicious pizza meal, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness and generosity!!

Next, we are thrilled to share that our kitchen renovation is complete! A huge thank you to our residents, staff and construction crew for your patience and hard work!

When we say that we are located in a beautiful and kind neighborhood, we are not kidding!!

We are almost complete with our kitchen renovation, and we received another meal donation!! Today's shout out goes to McDonald's on Thames Street! Our residents dined on cheeseburgers and french fries!!

Community partnerships truly make a difference and help us continue to create moments of joy and comfort. Thank you McDonald's for helping to make today a wonderful day!

Oxford Manor would like to extend a sincere thank you to Tremblett's Independent Grocer for their generous donation of today’s delicious meal!

The fried chicken and variety of fresh salads were enjoyed by our residents, and we are incredibly grateful for your support as we continue through our planned kitchen renovation. Not a hungry belly in sight today!!!

Community partnerships make moments like this possible. 💚 A sincere thank you to Ingersoll Foodland for their incredible generosity in donating sandwiches, vegetable trays, fruit trays, and cookie trays to Oxford Manor as we navigate our planned kitchen renovation.

Our residents truly enjoyed this special meal, and we are so grateful for businesses that give back and help care for our community.
