Remember when they sat you down in sex-ed class and told you what to expect when you started menstruating? And now you’re 30 and you’re pretty sure you’ve figured out the whole period thing, but no one has talked to you about your hormones since? Time to change that!

✨How are your hormones different at age 30 compared to 39?

✨You really want kids but now isn’t the time. How concerned do you need to be about your fertility?

✨What is peri-menopause and why you should know about it in your 30s?

✨How can you optimize your health during this time so you can feel good about aging?

the good-girl persona has no place in your birth plan, pregnancy, postpartum journey. In fact, it’s high time to tell her to hit the road.

WHY??

she will ALWAYS lead you away from your truth

she will try to sabotage your plans in order to please everyone

she will fill you with shame & embarrassment when you align with your higher self

HOW TO KNOW YOU’RE GIVING YOUR POWER TO HER?

- the reason(s) for not doing something you truly want is because you’re worried about what others might think or say or do

- you feel ashamed or embarrassed

- you feel yourself saying “it’s ok, I’m ok, it’s fine, I’m fine” when deep down, it’s anything but.

- your physical posture shrinks
- you self-censor
- you find yourself saying “I don’t want to be a bother.”

WHAT TO DO?

- take a breath. pause. Acknowledge the “good - girl” persona. And repeat “my body and my baby deserve my truth.” Call upon your courage and your brave bold heart.

- SPEAK UP!! The good-girl persona thrives in our silence- in our shame… seek out a trusted person and speak your FULL truth!

- before making a decision, or stepping into a difficult conversation, simple say “good girl, you’re not invited into this discussion.” And call upon your most confident, truest, higher self.

“It was morning. He fixed me a breakfast and brought it to the bath. He fed me bites in between surges and we giggled at the absurdity of the scene. Day 2 of birth went on like this.
