October’s Day Retreat is moving to a beautiful new home!

I’m so excited to announce that our October retreat will be held at Lock 34 Yoga, located in the heart of historic downtown Fenelon Falls.

While the location is changing, the heart and soul of our retreats will remain the same. You’ll enjoy a full day of yoga, a morning yoga practice, a Restorative Yoga Nidra, women’s circle, a delicious catered lunch, a witchy workshop and beautiful Reiki offered by Christina.

October is our annual Bewitched Day Retreat, a day to embrace the feeling of the season, awaken your inner witch and reconnect with your own intuition, creativity and magic. Together, we’ll create our own witches’ bells, infused with personal meaning and intention, to take home.

As a retreat leader, I try to experience a retreat as a guest at least once a year. I feel it is important to experience retreats created by others, but it is equally important for me to step away from leading and allow myself to become the guest, the student, and the woman who needs time and space too.

This weekend gave me the opportunity to slow down, receive, reconnect, and remember how meaningful it is to have someone else hold the space. When I allow myself to be cared for and filled back up, I return to my own life and the retreats I create feeling more grounded, inspired, and connected.

We experienced yoga, a sound bath, a peaceful forest walk, connection with the trees, delicious food, meaningful conversations, and so much beauty in nature.

Sometimes even those of us who hold space for others need a place where we can soften, receive, and simply be. This weekend was exactly what I needed.🤍

Lingering Light: A Restorative Yoga Nidra Class

September still holds a little bit of summer for us.

The days are beginning to shift, but there is still warmth in the sun, softness in the evenings, and that beautiful late-summer light we want to hold onto just a little longer.

Join me for a slow and nurturing restorative yoga practice inspired by this gentle in-between season. Through supported poses, stillness and breath, we’ll allow the body to soften, the mind to quiet, and ourselves to simply savour the last little pieces of summer before autumn arrives.

In just three weeks, all 12 spots have found their women, and I am so incredibly grateful for the response to this retreat.

I already know these six days on Prince Edward Island are going to be filled with connection, laughter, beautiful moments, time by the sea, movement, rest, and so much more.

We got most of our practice in this morning before the rain started, and I loved how we simply moved under the gazebo to finish the rest of our class together. A little rain wasn’t going to stop us! 🌧️🧘‍♀️❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the park this morning. Together, we raised $230 for Women's Resources ❤️🙏❤️

And don’t forget, we still have a few more Saturdays of Yoga in the Park to enjoy, with some wonderful teachers coming up!
