The instinctive fear: what if I blink or flinch and it ruins the procedure?

Don't worry about blinking during the procedure - a small instrument holds your eyelids open for the brief period of time the laser is being used.

Laser eye correction is a very calculated procedure using modern eye-tracking systems to monitor your eyes, and our staff are prepared for everything. The procedure is over before you even know it.

September is Sports Eye Safety Month.

Whether it's your kid's first season in hockey or your own pickleball league, protective eyewear matters. Prescription glasses or regular sunglasses don't count as real eye protection.

If you're interested in learning more about how you can get rid of your glasses and be more comfortable while being active, give us a call to book your consultation today.

What if I still need reading glasses after laser? Fair question - Sometimes you do.

Standard laser vision correction reshapes the cornea to correct your prescription, but it doesn’t prevent the natural age-related changes that affect near vision. This doesn’t mean the procedure failed—it may simply mean using reading glasses for certain close-up tasks instead of relying on glasses or contacts full time.

Other options, including refractive lens exchange, may help provide a greater range of vision and reduce your dependence on reading glasses.

Book a consultation to find out which option may be right for you.
