We are absolutely thrilled to introduce Emma Akerley, Ohana Community Services’ new Allied Health Assistant!
Born and raised right here in Prince George, Emma understands this communitybecause it’s her community.

Emma has just returned from Australia, where she completed hands-on training with our experienced Ohana team. She brings home new skills, plenty of enthusiasm and the unmistakable Ohana spirit! 🇦🇺✈️🇨🇦

Emma is warm, energetic, compassionate and seriously good fun. When she isn’t supporting children and families, you’ll likely find her enjoying the great outdoors or spending time with horses. 🐴🌲

Emma is an incredible asset to our team, and we couldn’t have chosen a better person to help lead Ohana’s next chapter in Prince George.

Ohana Community Services is bringing fun, practical and family-focused Paediatric Occupational Therapy to Prince George—with NO WAITLIST! 🙌🍁

We found our Canadian home. ❤️

After traveling through British Columbia and spending time in communities including Kelowna, Kamloops,
Invermere and Prince George, we kept coming back to one question:

Where are we needed most?

For us, the answer became clear.

📍 Prince George, BC.

We didn’t want to choose a location simply because it was the biggest, busiest or easiest place to open
a clinic. We wanted to find a community where we genuinely believed Ohana could make a difference.

So it’s official — Prince George will be home to Ohana Community Services Canada and our first Canadian clinic.

A long way from our beginnings in Central Queensland, but built on exactly the same belief:

No one left behind.

Prince George… we’re coming home. ❤️

THANK YOU so much for having us! We have had the best time and made so many big and little friends here! We even got to meet our first ever Ohana Canada Client! This trip has changed our lives and we are so grateful for everything we have experienced here! We will back for sure!
