Little pupdate on Rosy 🐶
As she squeaks her elephant toy beside me in bed I’m just overwhelmed with how much love I have for her.
Before I started this business I worked for a non profit. My job was to raise funds to help subsidize those who couldn’t afford alternative health care services. A huge part of what we did was raise money to help people obtain service dogs. It was the first time I realized service dogs were for more than seeing for the sightless. Anxiety, depression, Parkinson’s, learning disabilities were all reasons that people stated for wanting a service dog.
So fast forward to this morning laying here with Rosy I’m realizing that in so many ways she gives me these same benefits I heard about years ago with those clients.
And I’m finally realizing there is no “us and them”. We are all in need of some external love, no matter how self sufficient we are. Oh and this year amplified that for me!
Rosy has totally taught me how to receive love with grace. 💛
Also... she’s officially as tall as me standing up!
