Behind every healthcare statistic is a person, a family, and a story. This is Nigel’s.

Nigel Joseph was more than my best friend. He was someone whose life was cut short by failures within the Canadian healthcare system that should never have happened.

I share his story in his memory and in the hope that it inspires meaningful change. Every patient deserves to be heard.

Every diagnosis deserves clear communication.
These aren’t just standards of care, they’re responsibilities.

Terrible Technique Tuesday 🩸 Episode 2.
Episode 1 sparked some serious conversation. Let’s keep it going.

Today’s case: a Key Opinion Leaser dermatologist in the south eastern USA. Here’s what we’re looking at:
❌ Zero points of contact in temples
❌ Direct needle pressure on bone — no stabilization
❌ Needle tracking toward the NL fold and infraorbital foramen no aspiration (if you watch the whole video)
❌ Cutting needle advanced through tissue without withdrawing

I’ve intentionally left this unidentified — the goal isn’t to shame anyone, it’s to give injectors a framework for critically appraising what they see online and in their own practice.
Sculptra is an excellent product when used safely and for the right patient.
