Common questions I get as an Athletic Therapist 👇
“Do I need to be injured to come in?”
No—most of what I do is actually preventing injuries before they become bigger problems.
“Will I just be told to rest?”
Rarely. The goal is to keep you moving—just in a way that actually helps your body recover.
“How is this different from physio or training?”
Athletic Therapy bridges the gap between rehab and performance. It’s about fixing the issue and making sure it doesn’t come back.
“How many sessions will I need?”
It depends—but you’ll always leave with a clear plan so you’re not stuck coming in forever.
If you’ve been dealing with something that just won’t go away, there’s usually a reason—and a way to fix it.

Your body gives you signs before things get serious.
Most people just ignore them.
If you’re noticing any of these — it’s time to get it looked at.
The sooner you deal with it, the easier it is to fix.

Building strength for sport isn’t one-size-fits-all — especially for younger athletes.
Natalie’s daughter needed something specific to her sport, her body, and her goals — and that’s exactly what we focused on.
The goal is always the same:
Move better. Get stronger. Stay injury-free.
If your athlete is training, competing, or leveling up — this is where that foundation starts.

One of the biggest questions people have:
“Do I actually need to get this checked… or will it go away?”
Sometimes rest works.
A lot of the time — it doesn’t.
If it keeps coming back or isn’t improving, there’s usually something deeper going on.
Don’t guess.

Athletic Therapy is about understanding your body and fixing issues before they become bigger problems.

Just because you’re doing the exercise doesn’t mean you’re doing it well.

Small compensations in a movement like a lunge can put extra stress on your hips, knees, or lower back and make it harder to build strength where you actually need it.

Sometimes one simple adjustment can completely change how the movement feels.

Most people expect us to just look at where it hurts.
That’s not how this works.
We look at how your entire body moves — because that’s usually where the issue starts.
If you’ve been dealing with the same thing over and over, it’s time to figure out why.

Most injuries aren’t as simple as they seem.
This client came in thinking it was just shoulder pain —
but the root cause was somewhere else entirely.
That’s why quick fixes don’t last.
When you understand what’s actually going on, everything changes.
