💕 Myth Monday: Intended parents will expect you to follow all their pregnancy preferences.
The truth? A good surrogacy match is about finding common ground.
Everyone enters the world of surrogacy with their own hopes, expectations, and vision for the journey. Part of our job at True Match Surrogacy is to understand what matters most to each person, what their non-negotiables are, and where they're willing to be flexible.
For example, some intended parents may not be comfortable with a midwife or home birth. Others may have different preferences around pregnancy and delivery. And that's okay! Intended parents are entitled to their preferences, just as surrogates are entitled to theirs. ❤️
If a surrogate's vision for her birth experience doesn't align with the intended parents' expectations, they may simply not be the right match for one another.
That's why we have the important, sometimes difficult conversations early. We work hard to ensure everyone understands what is possible, what isn't, and where they stand before moving forward.
Because surrogacy isn't about one person getting everything they want. It's about building a relationship based on mutual respect, open communication, trust, and shared expectations.
✨ At True Match Surrogacy, we believe the right match makes all the difference.
