Thank you to our wonderful Kemptville District Hospital Foundation!

Our recent Golf Classic was held in support of a new 3D Mammography machine for Kemptville District Hospital, and we were thrilled to also present KDH with a cheque for $262,508 to support 8 additional capital needs!

The funding will help provide important equipment for the Emergency Department, Surgical Care Unit, Operating Room and Ambulatory Clinics, helping enhance care for our community, close to home. 💙

KDH lowered its flags in honour of the three people killed in a serious crash during an inmate transfer in Alberta last week. KDH extends our deepest condolences to their family, friends, and fellow correctional officers.

KDH’s own Katie Hogue, Vice-President of Nursing/Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive, and co-lead of the Kemptville Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic, was featured on CBC Ottawa Morning this week talking about the new clinic that will attach up to 6,400 people to primary care! Thousands of residents in North Grenville and the surrounding region will gain improved access to primary health care through the new Kemptville Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (KNPL), which is launching in early 2027.

CBC Ottawa Morning's Rebecca Zandbergen recently spoke with Mayor Nancy Peckford and Katie Hogue, Vice-President of Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive, about what this exciting new clinic will mean for our community.

This milestone reflects the collaboration between Kemptville District Hospital, local Family Health Teams, the Municipality of North Grenville, the Ministry of Health, and MPP Steve Clark to strengthen access to health care close to home.
