What is in-home physiotherapy?

In-home physiotherapy is physiotherapy care provided for patients in their home or community setting.
We can assess and treat of a variety of conditions including:
💪 general deconditioning
🎯 balance problems
🏥 post operative care (knee or hip replacement)
👨🏾‍🦼neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis
🫁 respiratory conditions such as COPD and other health conditions

In-home physiotherapy has been shown to have numerous benefits including:
☑️improving physical and social wellbeing
☑️increasing independence
☑️improving quality of life

Based on the assessment, an individualized treatment plan will be developed to address your needs, which may involve:
💪strengthening exercises
❤️cardiovascular exercise
🚶🏻‍♂️balance training
🧘🏽stretching

Clinics can remain open for in-person physiotherapy services!

As Ontario announces a second Emergency Order, we have more restrictions to help lessen the impact of COVID 19 on our healthcare system capacity.

The mandate requires everyone to stay-at-home, only to leave the house for essential purposes, such as accessing healthcare services (which includes physiotherapy and registered massage therapy).

We continue to:
✅ perform active screening on each patient
✅ maintain consistent infection control procedures
✅ firmly enforce the use of PPE
✅ practice physical distancing whenever possible.

Safe and effective physiotherapy services are our top priority.
