⌚ June 24: CANNT Webinar ➡️ Centralized Acid Delivery in Dialysis:
Operational, Environmental, and Financial Benefits

This webinar will provide an overview of Central Acid Delivery Systems (CDS) in hemodialysis and their impact on operational efficiency, sustainability, workplace safety, and long-term cost reduction. Participants will explore how CDS can reduce plastic waste, manual handling risks, acid wastage, and transportation requirements while improving workflow efficiency within dialysis programs.

The session will also discuss practical considerations for implementation, including return on investment (ROI), infrastructure planning, stakeholder engagement, and change management strategies for transitioning from traditional acid jug systems to centralized delivery systems.

Presented by Hassan Pooya, Clinical Engineering Technologist. St. Michael’s Hospital, and Simranjeet Singh, C.E.T., Clinical Engineering Technologist, Clinical Engineering Department, St. Michael’s Hospital

March is , a time to raise awareness about kidney health and recognize the dedicated professionals who support patients every day.

As part of this month of awareness, CANNT is inviting current and past members to share feedback on how we can better support nephrology nurses and technologists through education, resources, and professional connection 🤝

Your input will help shape future CANNT programming, education opportunities, and membership benefits.
