🎉 Congratulations to the Rose of Hope Committee, led by Sherri McCullough, for their tireless efforts and dedication to support in southeast .

🌹 This year they raised $390,000 for the Rose of Hope Clinical Chair in Breast Health at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, led by Dr. Doris Jabs (Women's Imaging, Queen's University Health Sciences, Queen's University) - almost double the target of $200,000. What an amazing result!

✅Introduction:
AI large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, and Microsoft’s Copilot, are touted as a revolutionary new technology with potential to enhance medical education, learner assessment, and curriculum development. However, AI’s applications for administrative graduate medical education (GME) tasks receive less attention. In addition to clinical duties, GME program directors, administrators, and educators handle multiple scheduling conflicts, accreditation requirements, and time-intensive assessments.

✅Conclusion:
AI tools provide GME programs new methods to improve the efficiencies and quality of administrative tasks. This can provide program faculty and administration with more time for teaching, faculty development, and improving curriculum. However, AI tool use for administrative tasks includes important ethical and privacy risks—systemic bias, loss of contextual nuance, and data security—which must be managed responsibly.
