3️⃣ Match the method to the surface — clean hard flooring with the right tools and chemistry, use signs while surfaces are wet, and never treat every floor finish the same way.

4️⃣ Inspect the full traffic path — check mat edges, thresholds, corners, elevator approaches, reception areas, and the route employees and customers actually walk.
