Meet Iris
For many families, I’m one of the first people you’ll meet when you begin exploring whether Trillium might be the right fit for someone you love.
Here I am in one of our respite suites — a place that can offer a little extra support, a chance to recover, or simply an opportunity to experience life at Trillium before making a bigger decision.
One of the things I enjoy most about my role as Assistant General Manager is finding ways to help seniors maintain their independence while adding the right support around them. Sometimes that means retirement living. Sometimes it means a short respite stay. And sometimes it means helping a family recognize that their loved one can continue living independently with the right resources in place.
But what I’m most proud of at Trillium is something you can’t really put on a price sheet: the sense of community.
Our residents notice one another. They look out for each other. Friendships form, people belong, and our team becomes part of that circle of support too.
That’s the part of Trillium I love introducing families to.
