On Friday, I had the pleasure of volunteering at the Almost Home Annual Golf Tournament. This event plays a vital role in raising much‑needed funds for an incredibly important service in our community.

For those who may not know, Almost Home provides a supportive, comfortable space for families with children receiving medical treatment at Kingston’s hospitals, a place of rest and relief during some of their most challenging moments.

And a special thank‑you to my buddy for the day, Jan Parker‑Warmington from Myers Kingston. Spending the day volunteering together made the experience even better.

I’m grateful to have been part of a day that brings people together for such a meaningful cause.

It’s back-to-school season — and that includes our residents! 📚🏅

Master’s Academy is Aspira’s lifelong learning program, giving residents the opportunity to explore new interests, expand their knowledge, and stay intellectually engaged. Each semester, residents can choose from a variety of courses, with each one combining an informative lecture or video segment with an engaging activity.

At the end of the semester, a special Certificate Celebration recognizes the hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm residents put into completing their courses. 🎓

It may still feel like summer, but Christmas is closer than we think and we’re already gearing up for one of our favourite traditions at Aspira Royale Place: the Festival of the Trees.

We’re inviting local businesses and community partners to take part in this year’s celebration by decorating one of our Christmas trees for our residents. It’s a fun, meaningful way to share your creativity, spread joy, and help make the season magical for the people who call Royale Place home.

A little road trip magic

We recently took some of our residents on a day trip to Perth, Ontario, and it was such a meaningful outing. For those who don’t drive or don’t have family close by, getting out to explore somewhere new is more than just a day out… it’s freedom, connection, and joy.
These moments remind us why community matters so much. Our residents truly appreciate experiences like this, and we’re grateful to share them together.

Get your hats and leis ready—we’re heading to Hawaii! Take a look at how residents at several Aspira residences celebrated through the Voyage by Aspira program. 🏝️🌺

Voyage by Aspira gives residents the chance to travel the world, experience different cultures, and enjoy incredible food without leaving the residence. This time, we brought the spirit of Hawaii to our communities with a lively luau party! Residents danced, played beach games, and enjoyed a fresh poke bowl inspired by the islands. 🌴🥥
