Stay safe in the heat. ☀️ Recognizing the signs of overheating early can help protect you and those around you from getting heat exhaustion - or worse, heat stroke. Understanding the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke is key.

Heat exhaustion is an early warning sign that the body is struggling to cool itself. This presents with symptoms like sweating, weakness, dizziness, and nausea. Heat stroke is a life-threatening emergency, with signs such as high body temperature, racing heart rate, dry skin, confusion, and possible loss of responsiveness.

Take steps to protect yourself by staying hydrated and keeping cool. If you notice signs of heat stroke, get medical help immediately.
