Brijesh Patel, commonly known as “Coach B,” is one of the most respected strength and conditioning coaches in collegiate athletics. With more than 25 years of experience in athletic performance, he currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director and Director of Athletic Performance at Quinnipiac University, where he oversees the development of athletes across 21 varsity sports. He works extensively with basketball and ice hockey athletes and was named the 2024 NSCA Collegiate Strength Coach of the Year.
Coach Patel’s philosophy is centered around developing complete athletes by improving movement quality, mobility, stability, strength, power, speed, balance, flexibility, and resilience. He believes that athletes should move well before they load heavily and perform explosively.
How Brijesh Patel Designed His Mobility & Functional Warm-Up System.
Coach Patel’s warm-up system is not simply designed to increase body temperature. Instead, it is built around preparing the athlete physically and neurologically for high-level performance.
