Across Canada, we lose 15 people to drug poisonings each day.

It’s part of why we encourage clients to connect with their primary workers for judgment-free support with substance use, and all of our sites are equipped with naloxone to treat overdose.

In the lead-up to Overdose Awareness Day, Sanguen Health Centre and Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy are hosting events across the communities we serve to remember those lost and fight for the care we know saves lives. We hope to see you there!

Huge thanks to Waterloo Region Community Foundation for funding our new Caregiver Support Service.

We're so excited to be launching this service in the coming months, supporting family and friend caregivers in our community in navigating the complex role of caring for an adult living with mental health challenges.
