🧁🍰 A little practice run in the kitchen!

Our residents tried their hands at mug cakes today, and we had an absolute blast! Just look at those smiling faces! 😍 There was lots of fun, laughter, and of course, a few sweet treats along the way.

We’re getting ready for our brand-new activity room kitchen, which is currently being renovated! Today was the perfect opportunity to practice before we get to put our new space to good use. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We can’t wait to show you our beautiful new spaces once the renovations are complete. Stay tuned for a peek at what’s to come! 🏡✨

✨ What a show! ✨

We had an absolute blast welcoming the Silver Stars to Briarfield Gardens this week! 🌟🎶 From singing and dancing to plenty of laughter, they brought so much energy and joy to our community!

We had a fantastic turnout, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together to enjoy such a fun-filled afternoon. The Silver Stars truly put on a show, and we’re still smiling thinking about it! 💃🕺❤️

There are teams… and then there’s the Briarfield Gardens team. ❤️

We are surrounded by some of the most caring, compassionate and dedicated people in the region. Every day, our team shows up for our residents, their families and one another, and we couldn’t be more proud of the incredible people who make Briarfield feel like home. They are our everyday superheroes. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

This week was bittersweet as we celebrated one very special superhero, our Director of Health and Wellness, Vesa.

Vesa is so deeply loved by everyone at Briarfield, and while we are incredibly sad to say goodbye, we couldn’t be happier for her as she moves on to an amazing new opportunity. We know she will continue to make a difference and change lives wherever her journey takes her.

Vesa, you have made such a lasting impact on this team and on the people you have cared for. We miss you already, but we are so proud of you and will be cheering you on every step of the way. ❤️

There were plenty of smiles at Briarfield as our residents enjoyed some special four-legged visitors! From cuddling and petting the bunnies and horses to giving the pony a good brushing, it was such a fun and heartwarming afternoon. 🥰
