A day in Toronto, getting hands-on with LINDBERG! 👓

We helped Brendan get started with contact lenses when he was just eight years old.

He needed vision correction but didn’t want to wear glasses—especially for sports. Together with his mom, we helped him give contacts a try and learn how to put them in and take them out.

It wasn’t instant confidence. Brendan was nervous, and his mom remembers a few tears at first. Putting the lenses in took practice, patience and a little problem-solving at home—including a stand-up mirror he could get close to.

He estimates it took about a month to feel confident.

Now 11, Brendan plays tennis, enjoys time with his friends, and contacts are simply part of his routine.

His favourite part? “It makes it so I can, like, not worry.”

We love seeing that confidence grow. Thank you, Brendan and Mom, for sharing what getting started was really like.

Thealoz Total is now available at Komoka Optometry.

If you’ve used Thealoz Duo, this new formula builds on it with the addition of NAAGA, a naturally occurring peptide that helps soothe irritation and reduce itching.

Our doctors recommend it because it combines hydration, protection and added soothing support in one preservative-free drop. Hyaluronic acid helps keep the eyes lubricated, trehalose protects the eye’s surface from dryness, and NAAGA adds relief for irritated, uncomfortable eyes.
