Bellies, Birth & Beyond At Bellies, Birth and Beyond we offer a wide variety of pregnancy, birth and postpartum serivces to the families of Labrador City and Wabush, NL.

Co-owners Jenna & Jennifer have been providing knowledge and support, and empowering local families on their journey through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period since 2014. Jenna & Jennifer began their educational journey with Doula Training Canada where they studied to become Certified Labour & Birth Doulas. Since then they have expanded their education and talents to offer many pregnancy, birth and postpartum services.

Did you experience a pregnancy in Canada in the last ten years?

Some people in Canada tell stories of exceptional, kind, and supportive care and others speak of disrespect, discrimination, and/or mistreatment during their pregnancy or childbirth.

There is very little research about how different experiences of care may link to health outcomes. This is the first study in Canada where community members decided what is most important to understand to improve quality of care for childbearing families.

It was such an honor to be invited to speak at the Status of Women AGM this evening! Volunteering has had such a huge impact on my life and it was so incredible to share those experiences with an amazing group of women (and Mayor Wayne Button 😉). Great job to everyone who spoke tonight and the Status of Women for hosting a wonderful evening!
