We are excited to welcome a new Physiotherapist Karin Kaufmann, to our Clinic. She graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.

With 30 years of experience in Private Hospitals, Chronic Pain Clinics, and Multidisciplinary Clinics, Karin Kaufmann is highly qualified to treat clients with orthopedic injury rehab, sports injury rehab, chronic pain, TMJ, MVA, WCB, and multiple sclerosis rehab, which should inspire confidence in her skills.

She has postgraduate training in Level 3 Manual Therapy, Lymphatic drainage, and Visceral Manipulation. Her hands-on approach, including Rolfing and Cupping, demonstrates her commitment to personalized, effective care that clients can trust.

Karin has earned a Brown Belt from Temple Kung Fu and a Gold medal in Ballroom dancing with her pro-am partner, Dima Levita. She also enjoys walking, running, swimming, and travelling with her family, which helps her relate to clients and makes her more approachable.

I've partnered with registered nurse Sue West and the team at Westrick Clinic to support women and men struggling with bladder control, frequent urination, urgency, disrupted sleep, pelvic floor weakness, or sexual wellness concerns. Using Health Canada–approved HIFEM technology, known as the Emsella Chair (often called the "Kegel Throne"), a single 28-minute session delivers the equivalent of more than 11,000 pelvic floor contractions to help strengthen and support pelvic floor function. This treatment is designed to complement and enhance your physiotherapy program and may be eligible for coverage through many extended health benefit plans under physiotherapy. Westrick Clinic is a nurse-led advanced medical wellness centre led by registered nurse Sue West and nurse practitioner Tammy Campbell.
