Please join us in offering up an enormous Motus welcome to our newest physio, Andrew Howie!

Andrew comes to us from Waterloo, Ontario, where he and his family have lived for some time - it's a big move out west, but we're so happy he and his wife have decided to make it.

He's a big cyclist (among other things) and has been doing his hill training to prepare for the new landscape on the island. He's got quite the physio pedigree as well - stay tuned for more information on him in future posts!

One last post to finish off this great story.

On that big cheque, if you zoom in, you'll see a HUGE number. This group (we got all of them in one shot this time) along with the support crew, volunteers, and organizers, have just raised over $272,000 for the .

In just its second year, End2endcancer is really picking up steam! They more than doubled their donation amount compared to last year, and maybe more importantly, have made so many more people aware of what they're doing for island kids and their families.

Tomorrow, June 16, 2026.

This superpowered crew (plus 3 more who must have been out training while this pic was taken) will leave the Trek Bicycle Store/Pro City Racing in Vic West, and riding in pairs 50k at a time, cycle north to Port Hardy. Once there, they'll turn around and come right back down - 1000km in total - and finish at the same bike store at 5pm on Thursday.

That's right, less than 48 hours later.

This is the End2endcancer team, and they're doing this to raise money for Island Kids Cancer Association, a charity who supports Vancouver Island families dealing with childhood cancer. Having seen first-hand what this fantastic charity does, we want everyone to hear about them, and would love to see as many new supporters this year as possible. Last year, the first for this event, they raised over $100,000 for IKCA - this year, they've set their goals much higher!

We're so proud of these riders, and the team behind them organizing and fundraising. Please join us in sending high fives, great energy, and loads of support their way! Also, do them a favour and share this post!

We’re so proud of our amazing pelvic floor physiotherapist, Sarah Adamson, who spoke on the panel at the “This Is Endometriosis” film screening, sharing her knowledge alongside an incredible group of providers.

Endometriosis and pelvic pain impact so many, and events like this help bring more awareness, understanding, and support to the people who need it most. A huge shoutout to .co for creating such a meaningful space for learning, connection, and community.
