Hey friends! Here’s a few words from our founder/OT!

OT isn’t about fixing kids.
It’s about understanding them.

Their bodies. Their nervous systems. Their world.

And supporting them where they are — often best done outside. 🌿

Hey friends!

🌿 Why we choose OT outdoors

Nature gives kids what indoor rooms often can’t—space to move, regulate, imagine, and breathe.

Out here, skills aren’t practiced in isolation; they show up naturally through climbing, exploring, creating, and connecting.

The outdoors supports the nervous system, invites curiosity, and meets kids where they’re already wired to learn best.

Less walls. More movement. Real-life skills, rooted in nature. 🍃

Hey friends! ☁️☀️🤍

When we slow down and step into a child’s world—their stories, ideas, and wild “what ifs”—we build connection, safety, and trust.

Meeting kids in their imagination tells them: your thoughts matter here.

And from that place, confidence, creativity, and regulation grow naturally. 🌿

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do…
is go down to their level and dream with them. 💭🍃

Hey friends!

🍃 The best moments of growth often happen when we step back.

When play is child-led and outdoors, kids practice problem-solving, regulation, and confidence in ways no structured activity can replicate.

Our role isn’t always to direct—sometimes it’s to notice, trust, and make space 💚🌲

Hey friends 🌱

Fun fact for you: Nature gives the nervous system “just right” sensory input.

Uneven ground, fresh air, birds, mud—
all of it helps bodies organize so brains can focus 🌿

That’s OT in motion!

Hey friends! 🌱☀️🫶🏼

Group therapy gives kids a place to practice real-life skills—together 🌿

Teamwork, patience, communication, and friendship aren’t taught in isolation. They’re learned through shared play, gentle challenges, and supported moments with peers.

In nature, these skills come alive.

What we strive for 🌱🙌🏼💛

Hey friends!

At ETR we do counselling different.

We don’t sit across from each other—we move together.

Play, walks, creativity, nature… and space to be truly heard.
