Kids don’t need constant entertainment to feel happy. Their brains are wired to find joy in movement, exploration, creativity, connection, and mastery. Climbing trees, building forts, learning new skills, riding bikes, helping around the house, and playing with friends all provide healthy dopamine boosts—without a screen in sight.

The best thing we can do is give kids the space to be kids.
