Family Counselling Centres offers an unconditional, respectful, gentle, and safe space to explore experiences and facilitate connections to inner strengths and creativity for healing. Our clinicians are trained specifically in the treatment of children, adolescents, and families. We are unique in that our clinicians put a strong emphasis on connections within the family systems, both past and pres
ent, not only the individual. We recognize that traditional office based therapy is not for everyone, and offer many alternative methods of treatment. More specifically, our clinicians specialize in Animal-Assisted Therapy {canine in office}, Play Therapy {with fully equipped play-spaces to engage your child in the process, Sandplay Therapy, EMDR {trauma-based therapy}, and Equine-Assisted Therapy {horse... and a multitude of other farm friends} facilitated by Hooves of Hope Ranch east of Millet, AB. Our clinicians are able to provide both direct billing to many third party insurers as well as a sliding scale for those without extended health coverage. Select offices also work alongside community partnerships to provide subsidized counselling programs for low income households, as well as contracts with *Employee Assistance Programs.
