1. Calf Raise with Ball
Looking to get a little more out of your regular calf raises?
Adding a tennis ball between your feet can help engage the tibialis anterior while strengthening the calf complex. This exercise can also help support ankle stability and foot control.

Try adding this variation to your lower body or running routine!

2. Monster Walk
Monster walks target the gluteus medius, an important muscle for hip stability, single leg control, and lower body alignment.
Start in a comfortable squat position with a resistance band around your feet. Take slow, controlled steps to the side, keeping tension on the band throughout.

Want an extra challenge? Try the same movement moving forward to challenge your hip stability in a different direction.

3.Lunge with Calf raise
Why choose one exercise when you can train multiple things at once?
This multi-muscle movement combines:
- lower body stabilization
- balance
- calf strength
- achilles tendon loading
- single leg control
For runners and active individuals, combining strength and stability helps build better control through the entire lower limb.

Bonus: add a weight when you are ready to progress and challenge yourself!

4. Single- Leg Balance: make it unstable
Balance training is often overlooked, but it plays an important role in running, sport, change of direction, and navigating uneven surfaces.

Want to make single-leg balance more challenging? Try standing on a piece of foam, a pillow or even a rolled up towel.

Goal: hold for 30 seconds at a time without putting the other foot down

Balance is not just about standing still, it’s about being able to control your body when things get unpredictable.

Your pelvic floor may be holding onto more tension than you realize.

Tension can build up in the pelvic floor without you even being aware that you’re clenching or gripping.

This simple 5–10 minute sequence is designed to help you gently release deep tension, reconnect with your breath, and create more relaxation through the pelvic floor. With regular practice, these exercises may help support better pelvic floor function and reduce pain or discomfort.

Try this sequence:

Diaphragmatic breathing
Child’s Pose
Half Frog
Supported Adductor Bridge Stretch

Move slowly, breathe deeply, and never force a stretch.

Save this for your next reset and give your pelvic floor a little more space to relax.
