We all have moments where we don't show up as our best selves, and that's okay; we're human. We make mistakes. We struggle. We react in ways we wish we hadn’t. But our imperfections do not make us unworthy of compassion — they make us human.
Instead of criticizing ourselves for every flaw or failure, self-compassion invites us to respond with understanding, grace, and honesty. Not because we’re avoiding accountability, but because growth happens more gently when shame isn’t leading the conversation.
You do not have to be perfect to deserve kindness, especially from yourself.
