What a night! The sold-out Community Cabaret brought together 200+ people for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, and connection. 🎶💃

Huge thanks to Geomatic Attic, our incredible performers and Bente Hansen, host April Hanson, sponsors, community partners, donors, and 25+ amazing volunteers who made it all possible. Your generosity and support brought this event to life!

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Together, we created something truly special — a community where everyone belongs. ❤️

Thanks everyone, for the amazing party last night! The sold out Community Cabaret, hosted by Geomatic Attic and Inclusion Lethbridge, had 200+ people dancing and having fun together! Bente Hansen had the crowd in a standing ovation with her incredible piano performance. The amazing Hippodrome packed the dance floor from the very first songs. The evening was hosted by the fabulous April Hanson from CJOC radio. She kept us on our toes, helped us get to know each other, and generally made the evening a smashing good time. Sonic Media made sure everyone looked and sounded great, and thanks to Southminster United Church for your amazing hospitality!

Special thanks to Two Guys and a Pizza for the yummy pizza, and to Westminster Liquor (13 St N location) who helped keep our costs low. Thanks so much for your support! Save-on North and West - everyone loved the pumpkin pie and whipping cream. An amazing donation and treat for us all!

Kin in the Kommunity is hosting its Annual Adaptive Volleyball & Pickleball event on Friday, October 23, from 6:15–8:15 PM at the University of Lethbridge Main Gym!

Sport wheelchairs will be provided, and everyone is encouraged to come out, get active, and enjoy an evening of inclusive recreation and community connection.

💰 Were you and your partner both receiving AISH or ADAP?
You may be eligible to receive money you were previously underpaid.
Alberta has changed the rules around the 88% living allowance that applied when both partners received AISH or ADAP. If you received the reduced amount, you may be owed the difference for affected months.
👉 What should you do?
- Check your AISH/ADAP payment statements.
- If you believe you were affected, consider making a written request for payment of the underpayment.
- Ask for a month-by-month calculation showing what you were paid, what you should have received, and the difference.
You don't have to figure it all out on your own. ❤️
