Join us tomorrow, October 4th, for the annual Sisters in Spirit march and vigil to honour the lives of MMIWG2S+ friends, family, and community members.

This is a time to not only mourn, but to come together as a community and demand action, heal, and speak about those we’ve lost and those who have been impacted by ongoing and systemic violence.

📍Sunday, October 4th 2026
📍6:30PM → March from Lethbridge City Hall
📍7:00PM → Vigil in Galt Gardens
📍8:00PM → Program concludes

Community members are encouraged to bring photos of loved ones, as well as blankets and chairs for the vigil. ❤️ Please wear red to show your support. ❤️

If you cannot attend in person:
- The Sisters in Spirit will be posting the vigil on their YouTube channel -sikoohkotoki
- Consider hanging a red dress or lighting a candle in your window in solidarity

Ever had someone misgender you, ask an inappropriate question, or make you feel like you don’t belong?

PolicyWise is gathering two-spirit, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse young people from across Alberta to talk about discrimination.

They’ll explore:

• Ways to take care of yourself when discrimination happens
• Tools for documenting what happened and deciding what to do next
• Community resources for support
