Pop Up Yoga Lethbridge Weekly Yoga for the community since 2014. 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings since 2020. Pop-Up Yoga Lethbridge, established 2015.

We aim to make yoga accessible to as many people as possible by creating an inclusive and accessible space. We have proudly done so since 2015 by operating on an anonymous payment system (pay what you can) in a humble attempt to remove barriers to the practice. We ask that those that can pay for their practices do so (sliding scale of $5-$15/class), and those that cannot at this time, join us (no

SUNDAY COMMUNITY YOGA IN THE PARK LED BY SHONNA (JUNE 7/26)

Sliding scale :
General : $10/$15
Students : $5/$10

COST: Since we began 13 years ago, our Sunday class continues to be offered by a sliding scale/pay what you can. Suggested amount is $5/$10 for students, $10/$15 for general.

LOCATION: We’ll meet at the North parcel of Henderson Lake for a one hour, Level 1/2 Vinyasa Yoga class, all are welcome. (The same location as the past six years). The location is right near the concession and by the North Parking lot.

BACK UP LOCATION: If weather or air quality is dicey, we’ll move to Casa Dance Studio. We will do our best to announce any location change the evening prior. We’ll announce on IG and FB stories for those who haven’t pre-signed up.

FINE DETAILS: You might bring a blanket or towel in case the grass is dewy. Some folks like to use sunscreen and / or bug spray.

SUNDAY COMMUNITY YOGA AT CASA LED BY ANNIE (MAY 31/26)

Once in a Blue Moon: Feeling Full || On this day, we celebrate the 2nd full moon in May. These themes will weave through our practice guiding us through our bodies from the tip of your fingers to the tip of your toes. Expect strong, breath driven flows grounding you to the earth as we stretch toward the sky. The intention will be to leave feeling full and nourished in the light of the evening’s full moon to come.

NOTE: Class moves to Henderson Lake for June - August (weather and air quality permitting). Stay up to date with our socials and website on class locations.

General (ages 16+): $10-$15

Join us for Summer Community Yoga in the Park.

We’ll meet at the North section of Henderson Lake for a one hour, Level 1/2 Vinyasa Yoga class, all are welcome. (The same location as previous 5 years).

The location is right near the concession and by the North Parking lot, nestled between the big playground and Exhibition Park. Entrance through North Parkside Drive.

Drop in’s welcome or pre-register at popupyoga-lethbridge.com. If the weather or air quality is dicey, we’ll move to Casa Dance Studio. We will announce location change within 2 hours before class time on IG and FB stories unless we can tell the evening prior. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s our system. ❤

May 24th’s practice is about finding expansion through stability.

Moving through strong standing postures, balances, and flowing transitions, notice how grounding oneself creates the space to grow, open, and move more freely.

This class will encourage the softening of unnecessary tension while cultivating steadiness through challenging movements.

As we transition from spring into summer, nature reminds us that growth begins at the roots. Like grass and tree roots reaching deep into the earth, a strong foundation allows us to rise, expand, and move with openness and energy.

Let the breath create grounding and presence as you cultivate steadiness throughout the practice.

There is so much to a life. Every experience leaves an imprint — a signature of emotion, memory, and energy.

The brain receives all life experiences through our five senses (jnanendriyas). For survival, the brain memorizes and categorizes these experiences as either positive or negative.

Each memory holds an electrochemical signature that, when triggered, generates a reaction of either opposition or attraction.

Through Yoga Nidra, we consciously meet these impressions, allowing them to dissolve into clarity and wisdom.

SUNDAY COMMUNITY YOGA AT CASA LED BY HEIDI (MAY 17/26)

Join Heidi for a vinyasa warrior flow! We will visit 6 variations of Warrior, standing on all we have overcome.

Focusing on stability, breath, and gradual opening, this sequence moves slowly, building strength in the legs while keeping the shoulders open and the mind anchored!

Join us for a one hour, Level 1/2 Vinyasa Yoga class at Casa, Upper Dance Studio. This weekly class has been taking place for over 10 years! You’ll find us on Sunday’s from September through May at 10:15am - 11:15am (MST).

Class Cost: Students: $0 - $10, General: $5 - $15.

Please note, these classes are made possible by a “pay what you can” system. If you are able to pay for class, please do. This allows us to continue to be sustainable in a number of ways including holding a rental space year round and that our instructors are paid fairly for their experience and education.

If you are unable to financially pay for class, please still join us.

So many memories. Privilege of a lifetime and an absolute joy. Thanks for letting me in 🤍

After approximately 632 classes taught in this space, my (Shonna) final Class at Casa Upper Dance Studio is this weekend.

For those that were with me back in 2016 at SAAG for the Vinyasa to the Visionaries series, expect some throwbacks like Florence, Kendrick, Black Keys and Beasties.

Let’s commune and celebrate the vitality of sharing a moment in this generous life together.
