September 30th is coming.
Truth Comes Before Reconciliation. 🌲

We cannot walk the path of reconciliation without first doing the vital work of understanding the truth. True healing, systemic change, and meaningful allyship begin with education, historical context, and an open mind.

Before we can practice reconciliation, we must first acknowledge the truths of our shared history, systemic trauma, and the strength of cultural healing.

To foster genuine understanding, we must commit to exploring historical context, cultural healing, and the profound importance of connection to the land. True reconciliation requires a continuous dedication to cultural safety, respect, and trauma-informed awareness in all that we do.

Hello, I’m Erin Rusnak.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master of Counselling, Bachelor of Health Science, and diploma in Rehabilitation. With over 15 years of experience in the human services field, I have had the opportunity to work with people of different ages, abilities, backgrounds, and life experiences.

The populations I work with include adults, seniors, and children ages 5–12. and types of presenting concerns I have experience working with include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergence (ADHD/ASD), endometriosis, and life transitions.

I believe counselling should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are. My priority is creating a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment. My approach to counselling is flexible and collaborative. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches because I don't believe there is one type of therapy that works for everyone. You are the expert on your own life, and together we can determine what approaches and strategies feel most helpful for you.

When working with children, I recognize that they don't always have the words to explain what they are feeling. I use play-based and developmentally appropriate approaches to help children express themselves, understand their emotions, and develop healthy coping skills.

Whether you are navigating a difficult season, experiencing anxiety or depression, grieving a loss, adjusting to change, or simply looking for a safe place to talk, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you find the path that feels right for you. You don't need to know exactly where to begin. We can start there together.

Outside of the counselling room, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and family. I also love watching soccer, listening to music, and getting lost in a good book. I believe these simple moments of connection, enjoyment, and relaxation are an important part of creating balance in our lives.

I am currently scheduling appointments during weekdays and evenings, with weekend appointments available by special request. I can be reached directly at [email protected]. or book in with me at https://rusnakerin.janeapp.com/

Oki, hello! My name is Kalli Eagle Speaker and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist. I have my Master of Education (MEd.) degree in Counselling Psychology and my Bachelor of Arts and Science (BASc.) degree in Indigenous Studies and Psychology.

I am Blood/Blackfoot and proudly come from the Blood Reserve. My background as an Indigenous woman influences and inspires my role as a counsellor, personally and professionally. I recognize the many disparities that exist in healthcare, and it is my goal to ensure those who seek counselling services feel heard, seen, and understood. I am an advocate for culturally-competent care in the mental health field, and I am grateful to offer a unique perspective.

My counselling work is influenced by my Blackfoot way of life, where we emphasize story-telling that explores our experiences, promotes introspection, and collaboratively reflects on the lessons and insights of your journey, so far. I emphasize trust and rapport as a foundation of the therapeutic alliance, and I am grateful to be in the presence of my client’s stories that are often unheard by others.

I implement evidence-based modalities and techniques in my work where we will explore what works for you and tailor to your needs. My therapeutic perspective works to address the various parts of you that make you whole, to explore the chapters in your narrative, and to ensure that we work collaboratively to identify the goals for your counselling journey.

In my story, I am a hockey player and an avid hockey fan (go Flames go!), a jingle dress dancer, a seamstress and beader, and an auntie who loves music, comedians, and building Lego.

I work Tuesdays and Thursdays with daytime and evening appointments available. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] for any inquiries, or book through JANE: https://kallicounselling.janeapp.com/ #/staff_member/1
