Hi friends!! This is a birthday/ meet the team post, all in one! Meet the beautiful gems who welcome you when you come to Back in Balance! They are the sweetest, and I feel so blessed that they chose to join our team. 😊 Ildi (left), Kristin (right), and in the center, it’s Cassie, the birthday girl!! 🎉 She loves her birthday, and I love ALL birthdays, and since she has only been with us a little over 4 months, she wasn’t expecting all the fuss I like to make on their special day, with the help of my amazing team! 🤗 We wanted to make sure she felt celebrated, so feel free to send some birthday wishes her way!! ~Dr. Pardip

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) reports that one in five Canadians has a mental health problem at some point in life.

There are numerous ways you can use holistic practices to improve your mental health alongside other conventional approaches.

Taking time for self-care is a great way to start creating a comprehensive mental health "toolbox." This can include seeking regular massage therapy or reiki sessions, or taking yoga or tai chi classes.

We are so excited to announce that we have finally added another Chiropractor to our team at Back in Balance Wellness Centre!

Dr. Tessa was born and raised in Lethbridge, where she was part of community athletics and theatre productions. She played multiple sports growing up, and continued with her love of athletics through coaching high school rugby and Special Olympics swimming, while obtaining her Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge. Dr. Tessa completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and following her time in Toronto, worked for a year in Central Alberta as a chiropractor.

She is excited to return to her hometown, giving back and helping those in the community she grew up in. She is looking forward to helping people on their wellness journey and towards a healthy and pain-free lifestyle. In her free time, you will see Dr. Tessa spending time with her family and friends, in the mountains, traveling, or enjoying the outdoors.

Dr Tessa offers chiropractic treatments as well as needling/ IMS. She starts with us next week, on Tuesday September 16 and has daytime and evening availability! You can book now through our website at backinbalancelethbridge.com or call us at 403-331-3331.

The audio that showed up first was “Hands” by Jewel and it’s kind of perfect! Haha! My hands ARE small, I know, but they are mighty 😆, and they’ve been able to provide care over 20+ years and thousands of treatments, through and placing needles to help heal the , , and , . It’s important to me that I lead with kindness in all of my interactions and provide each patient with individualized care. I didn’t remember to ask anyone to vote this year, so to still place 2nd in chiropractic and 3rd in acupuncture fills my heart with joy and deep gratitude to everyone who voted. I say this at every birthday. I will never lie about my age because we are so lucky for each day that we get. Not everyone is as lucky as I am to get to this age, and to have a healthy, fully able bodied experience, filled with people who I love and who love me back. You don’t have to live every day to “the fullest” if that means it’s jam packed from morning to night. Sometimes those are great! And other times, “the fullest” days could mean rest and quiet time to recharge, or binge watching your favourite show and napping. As long as throughout the week, we create space for laughing and crying, dancing and nature, creating and resting. What fills your cup each day will be different. But remember every day, that you are lucky for this day that you’ve been given. ❤️ ~Dr. Pardip
