The Gold Standard is our patient appreciation evening at the Norland on Wednesday, November 18. Cocktails begin at 6:00, followed by dinner at 6:30 and a short presentation from Dr. Secretan and Kira. The evening continues with a live band until 9:00.

I look exhausted even when I've slept.

We hear this often, and it's frequently not about sleep at all.

Visible veins around the eyes cast a blue-grey shadow that concealer can't quite cover.

With a precise laser treatment, we gently close these vessels, and the shadow softens as your body clears them. A small change that patients notice every time they look in the mirror.

➡️ The rule is simple. If it's above your shoulders, it's not your job right now.

That includes the decoration bin and the candy you hid on top of the fridge. Everything at counter height is fair game.

If you are planning to have surgery soon, move what you use every day down low before you come in. It makes the first few weeks so much easier.

We talked about this last December, when Alberta updated its guidance for registered nurse injectors, reinforcing medical oversight, patient-specific prescribing, and ethical care across injectable clinics.

This week, Ontario made news for the same reason.

A reminder worth repeating: meeting with your prescriber is non-negotiable.
