Did your reading go all wonky like a Salvador Dali painting in real life? Was your reading full of vague, fantastical scenarios and unbelievable drivel? Did your reader poke you in all the tender spots until she / he got the drama going? Then you didn't come to me or one of my respected, ethical peers.

This post is for those who poo pooed my post re learning to "turn it off."
Do you enjoy being bombarded with energy? Does it make you feel bigger to receive all that random, private information? Do you feel special because any random spirit can fill you? Does your ego swell when you deliver an "attack" message to a stranger and see the reaction of fear / sadness / anger at being invaded? Does that drama feed your soul? Are you that lonely that you need to approach strangers or is it because you think the practice promotes new business? Do you have such lack of self worth that you need to attack people to make yourself feel of value? Have I said enough?
For me, well, I demand my privacy and my peace. I want to interact with people on a normal sort of basis where I can meet someone's gaze and just exchange smiles, or maybe just glance away and be able to enjoy Rusty and my time and privacy. I want to just have a conversation about normal stuff without dissecting them and their energy. I desire real friendships with talk about fishing and "how was your day" types of talk.
I have no interest in being in your energy or your loved ones' energy. I don't want that barrage of emotion. I certainly don't want to feel what you feel or think, taste etc. (Without your asking me!) Imagine knowing if someone needs a bath!!!! No... Not me! How about experiencing a murder of a stranger while you're out having dinner? Because that's the types of things that will happen if you don't curb it from the start! I get enough drama from TV and just my average life!
So if you think I'm lying when I say I turn it off and I'm not invading your privacy, this is the why. People think I'm crazy enough without Spirit driving me crazy. lol
I still receive random messages through dreams and those seconds when I'm awake but really not in the morning. I still receive random feelings and see people where there are none, but it is much less and I do have privacy most of the time.
