Advertise at the Mike Austin Arena!

Looking for a great way to promote your business or organization while supporting recreation in our community? The Town of Lewisporte has a variety of affordable, high-visibility advertising opportunities available at the Mike Austin Arena!

With more than 2,500 hours of building use each year and an estimated 8,000 visitors annually, your business can be seen by residents, athletes, families, tournament visitors, and spectators throughout the season.

Advertising opportunities include:
• Billboard advertising
• Lobby posters
• Rink board advertising
• Additional rink board sections
• Under-ice logos

Application deadline: August 28, 2026

Spaces are limited and available on a first come, first served basis, so don’t wait!

That's a wrap on the 40th annual Mussel Bed Soiree!
A huge "Thank you" going out to our sponsors, volunteers, staff, students, everyone who attended and took part in any way. It was a week of reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, toe tapping music, great food and a lifetime of memories!

🎶🔥 TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT — THE MUSSEL BED KITCHEN PARTY IS HERE! 🔥🎶

We’re ready for a HUGE night of live music at the Mike Austin Arena as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary Mussel Bed Soirée!

Here’s your lineup:

🎵 9:00 PM — Coldwater Junction
🎵 10:30 PM — Shanneyganock
🎵 12:00 AM — The Black Sheep

Tickets available at the door $40.

Food trucks will be on site from 8:00 PM until close, so come hungry and settle in for the night!

Last call is 2:30 AM
Doors close at 3:00 AM

A few reminders before you head out:

🔞 This is a 19+ event and ID WILL be checked at the door
🎒 Bags may be checked upon entry
🚫 No outside alcohol permitted
🚭 No smoking or va**ng inside the arena
🍺 Please drink responsibly and make arrangements for a safe ride home.

KAYAKING POSTPONED

Due to the weather, today’s FREE Kayaking at Woolfrey’s Pond Park has been postponed until tomorrow, Sunday, August 9th.

Woolfrey’s Pond Park
FREE – Walk-ins only

Join us tomorrow for a paddle around beautiful Woolfrey’s Pond with Above the Falls Kayak Rental! Life jackets, paddles and kayaks will all be provided.
