Highlights from Summer Carnival 2026! So great to see all residents, family and friends come together.

Last month we had our annual friends and family Summer Carnival!

We love seeing friends, family and our residents all connect and come together to celebrate a great day. We had bouncy inflatables, petting zoo, free BBQ lunch, indoor activity station with popcorn and games on the beautiful terrace.

We are always happy to see our residents proud of where they live and invite their friends and family to experience it as well.

We are a big believer in giving residents more options to be active! We brought back a classic experience with the Nintendo Wii! Wii bowling was a classic staple for our residents but that changed during the pandemic.

This was one of many different types of gaming explained during the Gaming with Ricky session. Our goal is to introduce different types of play that can help stimulate the brain and keep our bodies active.

Join us for the 4th annual SeniorFEST! Newly rescheduled date!

We are excited to announce this year's SeniorFEST with live entertainment, BBQ buffet, silent auction, vendor markets and more. Tours will be done at 2pm and 3pm. Entrance and parking at 81 Albert St South, Lindsay. We will be collecting donations as well as all proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes and the Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario.
What is SeniorFEST? It is an annual celebration for the senior population hosted by Adelaide Place.

Last month we had a Horse Farm Tour at Therapeutic Horsemanship & Riding In Lindsay. The resident's had a fantastic time and the team there were very informative.

T.H.R.I.L is a non profit charity that provides therapeutic riding and horsemanship for children, youth and adults to improve overall well-being. Be sure to check out their Line Dancing Fundraiser on Saturday August 15th as well!

We were very excited to have Drag Bingo with Betty Baker last week to celebrate Pride Week festivities in Kawartha Lakes.

There was great energy, laughs and prizes to be won. The residents had a blast and raved about it all week!
