A huge thank you to our friends at Kawartha Total Foot Care in Bobcaygeon for coming to our rescue today!

We unexpectedly ran short of an essential office supply, so my son made a quick trip across town, and the team at Kawartha Total Foot Care generously shared some of theirs to help us out.

This is what community is all about. While we may be separate clinics, we’re all local chiropodists with the same goal: providing the best possible foot care to the people of Kawartha Lakes.

Together, our two clinics have been serving this community for more than 25 years each, and we’re proud to support one another because working together makes all of us stronger—and ultimately benefits our patients and community.

Every day, approximately 75–100 patients walk through this door seeking care that helps keep them out of already overburdened emergency rooms and walk-in clinics.

Diabetic foot care and ulcer management. Ingrown and infected toenails requiring treatment and sometimes antibiotics. Sprains, strains, and foot injuries needing assessment and care. Warts requiring treatment and removal. Chronic pain managed with cortisone injections and conservative therapies. Prescriptions for infections, inflammation, and pain.

Podiatric care is more than “just nail care.” It’s an important part of our healthcare system that helps reduce pressure on emergency departments, physicians, and nurse practitioners while keeping people mobile, independent, and working.

Foot Ulcers: Don’t Wait — Get A Step Ahead of Them!

Foot ulcers can start small, but they’re one of the most serious issues we see in foot care. Whether they’re caused by diabetes, neuropathy, pressure points, or poor circulation, ulcers rarely heal on their own — and delaying treatment can lead to infections, mobility problems, and long-term complications.
