Manitoulin Centennial Manor- Home for the Aged Manitoulin Centennial Manor is a Municipal Home for the Aged, supported by the municipalities of Manitoulin Island and District.

Our 60 bed home is located in Little Current, Ontario overlooking the North Channel of Lake Huron.

We recently said goodbye to our bus. 💙

It wasn't easy. Due to safety standards, it was time to let it go, and our residents are heartbroken. That bus represented so much more than transportation—it meant outings, fresh air, community, and cherished memories.

Now we're working toward a new accessible bus so we can get our seniors back out enjoying the community they helped build.

Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer. Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. As we are a not for profit home we simply do not have the funds to purchase a new bus.

❤️ Help Put Our Residents Back on the Road

The residents of Manitoulin Centennial Manor are more than just the people we care for—they are the people who helped build the communities we call home. Many were born and raised on Manitoulin Island, many come from the Island's First Nations communities, and they spent their lives raising families, volunteering, working, and giving back to our communities.

A bus is so much more than transportation. It's a chance to return to places that hold a lifetime of memories, reconnect with family and friends, enjoy the beauty of the Island they love, and continue being part of the community that has always been part of them.

We're asking for your help to put our residents back on the road. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to purchasing a new bus and giving our seniors the opportunity to make more meaningful memories.
