Ever notice your stomach rumbling during a massage or Osteopathy session?

This is actually a great sign!!!

When the body begins to relax, the nervous system can shift from “fight or flight” into “rest and digest.” As this happens, digestion and gut movement may increase, creating those little stomach gurgles and rumbles.

This can be a sign of:
-Deep relaxation
-Reduced tension in the body
-Improved nervous system regulation
-Increased digestive activity
-Better diaphragm and abdominal mobility

Many people feel embarrassed when it happens, but therapists hear it all the time — it’s simply your body responding and settling into a healing state.
