We’re excited to welcome Christian Lee to the Vessl team as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op! 🎉

Christian is a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student at University of British Columbia, specializing in mechatronics. He’s explored quite a few sides of engineering already, but biomedical engineering has given him the opportunity to work on something he’s always cared about: building things that can have a direct impact on people.

Over the next 8 months, Christian will be working with our engineering team on Kinn, getting involved in design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing along the way.

A little more about Christian outside of work: he’s lived in six different countries and can play eight instruments! 🎶

Oleksiy Zaika’s workshop sparked a great conversation, with thoughtful and interactive questions about how Kinn works, patient selection, and how automatic volume management can fit into clinical practice. Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought their questions to the room!

We’re so excited to kick things off in Las Vegas and be part of a few busy days with the O&P community.

We’re heading to American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association next week, and we’re bringing Kinn with us!

Stop by booth 1123 to meet the Vessl team, see Kinn in action, and talk about how automatic volume management can help your patients maintain a more consistent socket fit throughout the day.

And because we couldn’t talk about socket fit without bringing up socks, we’ll have some fun ones waiting for you at our booth. These ones, however, are not for managing sock ply. 🧦
